Visit from Reverend Luff for Year 7

Year 7 had a visit from Reverend Luff this week as they had the opportunity to find out about life as a vicar.

Reverend Luff, who was a pupil at the Convent of Notre Dame before the school became Trinity and has previously served as the school chaplain, answered questions that pupils had prepared.

The pupils impressed with their thought provoking questions, which ranged from topics and discussions involving denominations, the definition of missionary work, and the increasing role of women in the church, with Reverend Luff having been ordained in 1990 which was the first year women could be.

Thank you to the Reverend for her time, and this will inspire further follow up work in the pupils’ Religious Studies lessons.
