Top Gun visits Trinity

Aspiring RAF pilots in the Sixth Form were treated to a visit from former Trinity pupil Kieran Gilroy, who has been a serving fighter pilot for the last 12 years.
Pupils were able to ask a wide range of questions regarding the training and life on the ‘front line’. Kieran provided an excellent insight into what it takes to serve in campaigns across the globe.
Kieran then had a quick look around and recalled fond memories of his time at Trinity. We wish Kieran the best of luck as he is shortly to be deployed to the middle east to train new fighter pilots.
Although the RAF do not use ‘call signs’ – Kieran would be as close to a ‘Maverick’ as we are likely to see!
