T2 - Temporary Classroom 2!

Mrs Evans has been working hard at home to recreate her History classroom T2 and has the following updates from T (temporary) 2.

• Year 7 have been producing excellent work on their topic of medieval religion and "How to Get to Heaven"
• Year 8 are studying the Spanish Armada and Elizabethan culture
• Year 9's GCSE group have made a great start on examining the legacy of World War I in Germany
• Year 10 are currently discussing The Domesday Book
• All historians have been receiving "On this Day in History" messages e.g. 30th April: 1789 George Washington became first President of the United States of America, 1911 Female Suffrage in Portugal, 1945 Hitler committed suicide, 1952 "Mr Potato Head" became first toy advertised on TV, 1989 World Wide Web launched
• A Mr Potato Head made by Mrs Evans - guess the world leader...
• A 100th Birthday card sent to "Captain Tom" from historians at Trinity
