Rotary speaking competition 2014 – The Finals!

I am sure we say it every year, but the standard of the presentations in this competition really does get higher and higher!

Prep 4 finalists talked about golf, tennis, cricket, ICT and books.

Prep 4 Winner: Milo Platts

Runner Up: Lilly Mazer

Prep 5 talks included Surf Life Saving, Princess Margaret, Prince Harry, Pompeii and HMS Belfast.

PreWinner: Inge Watkins

Runner Up: Harry Waggett

Prep 6 presentations were about charities and included War Child, Animals in Distress, Water Aid, WWF and Help for Heroes.

Winner: Freddy Thompson Runner Up: Niamh Harding

It is a completely different experience presenting at the final to the panel of judges and friends and families, and I was truly impressed by how this band of brave and talented young people conquered any nervousness. Well done to you all! Mrs Eaton-Jones
