Prep 1 learn about the poppy

Prep 1 had lots of discussion today about why we wear the poppy.
The children demonstrated curiosity and a desire to find out and understand more. They then wrote captions about some of the traditions, donated some money to the Poppy Appeal and discussed what the money might be used for.
There was then some thoughtful play with toy soldiers and poppies. Well done Prep 1!
