Inspiring Carol Service Enjoyed by Whole Community

The Senior Department Carol Service at St Michael’s Church on Thursday was the perfect way to mark the end of term and the start of the Christmas break.
Pupils took the opportunity to shine as we were reminded of some of the key messages behind Christmas and joined together in song for a number of hymns.
Highlights included solo and choir singing, a joint staff and pupil choir, readings and songs in international pupils’ native tongues, an engaging reading of A Christmas Carol excerpt and some powerful and poignant readings to reflect on. Senior pupils were also joined by members of the Prep Chamber Choir and other Prep pupils who took part in readings.
Reverend Roderick and Father Mark led prayers and the school would like to thank the churchwardens of St Michael’s for their generous hospitality.
