Year 11 students explore Easter around the world
25th March 2015
In a special assembly, students from form 11LL delivered an excellent presentation on the different ways in which Easter is celebrated around the world. The pupils had spent a long time preparing a fantastic video, which contained some fascinating contrasts on how different groups of people recognise Easter, and it presented an interesting contrast between religious themes and the more commercial aspects. In an upbeat ending, this contrast continued as a cheerful hymn was followed by 11LL snapping on bunnies ears and handing out mini chocolate eggs to everyone – a popular gesture!
