Trinity School steps up for Sport Relief!
9th April 2018
Pupils at Trinity School went the extra mile quite literally last month in raising money for Sport Relief.
The Prep Department set themselves an amazing Sports Relief challenge to support Head of Prep Mrs Eaton-Jones as she moves on to take up a new role in Malaysia next year by heading there with her, and walking the 6,672 miles across Europe, Asia and over the Indian Ocean.
During the week leading up to Sports Relief the pupils walked a set route around the Prep School as a class, a team or individually, with prizes available for first team to complete the challenge and most miles. Pupils paid £2 to enter, and the miles were multiplied by 100 and were completed by the Friday!
Along with other fundraising events going on throughout the day, the Senior Department organised the Gunk challenge, which saw four Senior students along with Mr. Acher and Mr. Van Es take part in an obstacle course which involved catching eggs, custard slides and even baked bean filled wellies! The challenge proved to be a very messy success that all of the Senior department were able to enjoy.
