Trinity donates to homeless charity for Harvest Festival

15th October 2018

Last week saw the whole Trinity community come together to collect food donations for a homeless charity in Teignbridge as part of Harvest Festival.

Early Years, Prep and Senior all held services and organised activities which included songs, poetry and bible stories as part of Harvest Festival. Pupils were organising food collection this year for HITS, a charity which supports the homeless and people in crisis in Teignbridge.

Our Early Years classes took part in the story of Puddles the Cat and walked to the Chapel to make their food donations. They then enjoyed a on a lovely walk in the grounds to collect autumnal items, and sang the Autumn Leaf Song as they shook leaves on a parachute.

Prep's Harvest Festival Service capped off a wonderful week as parents joined the pupils for a special service in the chapel.
