Prep 2 at National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth
24th February 2017
Prep 2 visited Plymouth Aquarium to learn more about the impact of pollution on the Ocean. They were given a guided tour around with various challenges to solve as they did so. In the afternoon the children took part in a workshop having to sort the contents of the inside of a sharks stomach!
The children found that there were many natural items such as squid and fish heads but also many man-made items such as plastic straws and milk lids which could cause lots of harm and don’t belong in our oceans.
