Key Stage 1 children enjoy a packed day of Life Skills
21st November 2014
All the children in Key Stage 1 took part in their first ‘Life Skills Day’ which saw them enjoy a busy time in a range of activities outside of their normal timetable.
The excitement began in the Forest School with Mr Fisher around a campfire. After marshmallows and hot chocolate the children built small habitats for animals and large dens using only resources they could find in the forest. After break they then had the opportunity to learn about Internet Safety with Miss Parker and eating etiquette lessons before lunch!
The afternoon consisted of a fun-filled festive Nativity rehearsal and to cap off a wonderful day the children still had enough energy for Golden Time! Mr Lovett
