Festival billing for Robbie

24th April 2017

Robbie Robinson’s ambition is on its way to becoming a reality. The Sixth former recently had his first ‘big gig’ at a packed club in Exeter, and overcame his nerves to put in an amazing performance.

Robbie loved the experience and the club paused the music at the end to give him a round of applause from the revellers. His is a real example of following your dreams whatever they are - and fitting them in with A Levels and part-time working…..! He is now scheduled to perform at the ‘Lockdown Festival’ at Powderham Castle in September.

The remarkable thing is that he has achieved all this by himself with his own drive and tenacity. He has worked part time at Sainsbury’s to buy his (very) expensive equipment and is mainly self-taught.

He has self-funded a training session at the London Sound Academy and organised gigs by networking and pushing himself forward, displaying the Trinity spirit in a totally different way, and benefitting from the journey he has been on at the school over the last 16 years.
