Celebration of the Year's Achievements at Speech Day

20th July 2018

It was a day filled with pride and celebrations as we looked back at the achievements of our pupils this year at Speech Day last Thursday.

Many awards were handed out to pupils across all ages, but the day was tinged with sadness as we said goodbye to another excellent Year 13 cohort as they leave for their next adventure in university or employment.

Speeches were made by Headmaster Mr. Lawrence Coen, Reverend Jonathon, and Chairman of Governors Simon Brookman, as well as a moving reflection from Mrs. Rachel Eaton-Jones, Trinity's Head of Prep who departs this Summer for her Malaysian adventure to Marlborough College after six successful years heading up the Prep department.

Head Boy and Girl Jean-Luc Chenery and Georgia Marney delivered speeches which were commended as they talked about their individual journeys at Trinity School and the experiences they’ll take forward as they face new challenges at university.

The day closed with refreshments for our Year 13 Leavers families on the Terrace. It was a terrific celebration and the school would like to thank all who attended and their support during the last year. We look forward to welcoming back friends old and new in September.
