Transport Links

The School is very well served by an excellent transport network. We run coaches to many local towns and villages. The station is only 1km from school and on the main railway line.

School Buses

Trinity School also runs a bus service for students to use, one bus each from Bovey Tracey/Newton Abbot, Exeter/Dawlish and Paignton/Shaldon. Please see the timetable for further information.

Shuttle Bus

We offer a free bus to pick up pupils from Teignmouth Train Station at 8:15am and return at 5.05pm on Monday to Thursday and 3.50pm on Friday. If you would like to use the bus service please complete and return the 'School Bus Service' form to the Bursar's Secretary, Julie Dickenson at dickensonj@trinityschool.co.uk.

By Car

Driving to us is straightforward. For a route that serves you best, enter our postcode, TQ14 8LY into the AA routefinder site on this link. Alternatively, we have prepared a Travel Planner for you to print out.

By Taxi

We would recommend Alpha Taxis of Teignmouth for those travelling to us.

By Rail

We are very close to the main line between London and the South West. If our shuttle bus service proves successful, we expect to see more pupils travel to us using this “green” and very convenient option. Journey times are typically about: 10 minutes from Newton Abbot; 20 minutes from Exeter and Totnes; 25-30 minutes from Torre and Paignton; 40-50 minutes from Crediton and Exmouth.

London is between 2 hours 50 minutes and 3 hours 20 minutes away, with many direct services.

By Air

We are only 25 minutes from Exeter International Airport. Flybe run services to Amsterdam and Paris (CDG) which connect well to Eastern Europe or the Far East. The Amsterdam service also connects effectively to the railways of Holland and North Germany.

Alternatively, there are a range of European flights from Bristol International Airport, which is 1hour 45 minutes away.

London Heathrow is also readily accessible (about 3 to 4 hours by car, taxi or coach). The trains from Teignmouth to London Paddington arrive only a few metres from the Platforms for the Heathrow Shuttle service, meaning that this rail connection is excellent and easy to use. Travel time around four hours to the Heathrow Terminals and services approximately hourly from about 0600 until about 2000.
