Head of Key Stage 4 and Surmaster

Profile:

Philip Jones holds the title of Surmaster which gives him responsibility for Senior Department discipline issues; overseeing and checking of systems within departments and for the school minibuses. He is also Head of Key Stage Four with all of the pastoral and curriculum issues that entails. He has taught History for thirteen years, eight of them at Trinity School. He is also responsible for organising the annual school ski trip and has organised several battlefields trips to France and Belgium. On top of this he is Officer in Charge of the Army Section, CCF, an organisation which he has been part of for nearly thirteen years. He enjoys competitive swimming, running half marathons, triathlons and cricket as well as being a former rugby player and a keen spectator of the sport. He is married and has two daughters.
