Pastoral Care: Staff & Support
Trinity School
Class sizes and tutor groups are small throughout the School, for both Day and Boarding
pupils, ensuring that all the key pastoral relationships are strong. The School
also underpins this by having comprehensive systems in place to promote the welfare
and safety of pupils.
Pastoral care is a whole-school responsibility, but is principally coordinated via
Key Stage Heads for Day pupils and by Key Stage Heads and the boarding staff working
in concert for Boarders. The School is fortunate to have a high number of experienced
pastoral staff.
Parents will also have peace of mind knowing that both School Nurses have the Registered
General Nurse (RGN) qualification. Two doctors (one male, the other female) visit
the School on a weekly basis to hold surgeries. A family doctor is on 24 hour call.
(For further information on our medical provision, please see our
"Medical Centre"
section.
We also have qualified counselors on the staff and a number of independent listeners,
allowing pupils to seek extra help and advice if they wish to do so.
