Trinity Nursery Inspections & Reports

Trinity School

ISI Inspection - Autumn 2008

The Nursery was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate, as part of the whole school inspection in the Autumn term of 2008. The report stated "The setting is highly successful in helping the children make consistently good and often excellent progress across the Every Child Matters outcomes. This is because of its inclusive and stumulating learning ethos and the attention given to the welfare of each child. All children are highly valued and thrive in the settings positive and homely atmosphere. “Children thrive as a result of the many initiatives undertaken by the Nursery to promote their health.”

“Staff have a very good knowledge of how children physically develop and use this knowledge to ensure that children enjoy both indoor and outdoor environments that encourage them to move with confidence and safety. An inviting outdoor area is used throughout the day.”

“The welfare of children is thoroughly safeguarded and promoted. Access to the provision is extremely well monitored and comprehensive systems are in place to promote security.”

“The quality of teaching and learning is outstanding and children are making very good progress towards the early learning goals in all six areas of learning.”

“Strong relationships between the parents and the staff are very much in evidence resulting in very high levels of continuity of care between home and nursery.”
