ISI Inspection - Autumn 2008
The Nursery was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate, as part of
the whole school inspection in the Autumn term of 2008. The report stated "The
setting is highly successful in helping the children make consistently good and
often excellent progress across the Every Child Matters outcomes. This is
because of its inclusive and stumulating learning ethos and the attention given
to the welfare of each child. All children are highly valued and thrive in the
settings positive and homely atmosphere. To read more about the

“Children thrive as a result of the many initiatives undertaken by the Nursery to
promote their health.”
“Staff have a very good knowledge of how children physically develop and use this
knowledge to ensure that children enjoy both indoor and outdoor environments that
encourage them to move with confidence and safety. An inviting outdoor area is used
throughout the day.”
“The welfare of children is thoroughly safeguarded and promoted. Access to the provision
is extremely well monitored and comprehensive systems are in place to promote security.”
“The quality of teaching and learning is outstanding and children are making very
good progress towards the early learning goals in all six areas of learning.”
“Strong relationships between the parents and the staff are very much in evidence
resulting in very high levels of continuity of care between home and nursery.”
