ISI Inspection - December 2012

The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) have just published the reports of Boarding and Early Years Foundation Stage inspections of Trinity School, Teignmouth, the school achieving the rare feat of having been graded as “Outstanding” for the third time in eight years.

The Early Years report was exceptional, the school being graded as Outstanding in all respects, with only two minor recommendations.

The key quality judgements from the EYFS inspection were:

"the setting makes outstanding provision in meeting the needs of the children who attend"

"provision for the children’s well-being is outstanding"

"leadership and management are outstanding"

"the quality and standards of the early years provision are outstanding"

"all children make excellent progress overall relative to their starting point. The learning opportunities and care provided by the setting are excellent and meet the needs of all children who attend, including those with SEND."
