Record A levels at Trinity:
Pupils are celebrating another excellent set of A level results at Trinity School in Teignmouth. The school equalled its best-ever A level performance, with 52% A and B grades at A2 level and with 85% of pupils obtaining at least one top grade.
Star performers were Angel Li with five A grades at A2 and Jessica Jarrold with three A grades at A2 and two further top AS grades. Angel will be studying Business at Birmingham University and Jessica will be studying English at Exeter University. Top performing boys were Howard Peng with 2As and 2Bs and James Hatch, the Head Boy, with an A and two Bs. Two of James’ module results saw him score 100% and he is delighted to be going on to Loughborough University to study Sport Technology.
The Headmaster, Tim Waters, says “We cater for the full ability range and it is a real joy to see so many pupils scoring top class grades. Both pupils and staff should be very proud of their considerable achievements.” Sarah Angus, Head of Sixth Form at Trinity said, “nearly all of our pupils have exceeded or equalled their predicted grades and will be going on to their first-choice universities. That’s a great result!”
