3rd Place at the U18 National ISA Netball Tournament
The ISA U18 Netball tournament was held at Rugby School on Saturday 13th March. We were in a group comprising Northampton Grammar School, who we beat 14-5, Claire’s Court with whom we drew 4-4 in a very close match and Licence Victualler School who we beat 11-1.
Hannah Mann and Serah Chilia combined superbly with their attacking efforts to help secure the wins. The results of the ‘round robin’ group finished with Trinity School top on goals scored.
We then went into a cup competition where we played a’ round robin’ group format with the winners and runners up from the other section.
In the cup competition we again faced Claire’s Court and this time were unlucky to lose 8-11. The next game was against Ibstock Place and Trinity won 12-7 in another highly competitive match. The final game was against the Cup favourites Princethorpe College where we lost 6-12 but definitely put in a good performance.
The final positions were -
1st - Princethorpe College
2nd - Claire's Court
3rd - Trinity School
All of the squad played with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit on the day and were a credit to Trinity School.
The squad comprised of Hannah Mann, Lizzie Donnelly, Rachel Gates, Sam Kenshole, Rhiannon Depla, Vicky Walmesley, Beth Camp, Mel Downey, Serah Chilia and Livvy Woodward.
