Old T-Shirts make Smiles at Trinity
Students in Key Stage Three at Trinity School have been collecting old t- shirts and turning them into operating gowns for the charity ‘Operation Smile’.
This charity is the focus for this year’s “Blue Peter” appeal. The charity spends £3 on each gown that it buys and so with our help the gowns we make will help the charity to perform more life changing operations on children in India who are born with the conditions cleft lip and palate.
Students gave up their lunchtime to collect 24 t-shirts which will be sent to this appeal.
