ICT Department Staff

Donna Piliotis, Head of ICT, Form Tutor, Staff Trainer:
Donna began her career in Information Technology at IBM in 1984 where she was employed as a Systems Installation Manager/ICT Trainer. Wang and Honeywell Bull, who were the other main PC manufacturers in London at that time, also employed her as a freelance ICT expert to assist with staff ICT training. In 1988 Donna moved to Devon where she was employed at the Herald Express in Torquay as an ICT Trainer following the breakdown of the print unions. Donna left the Herald Express in 1992 and went to work for Torbay Hospital where she managed and delivered ICT training courses for staff from all disciplines. During this time she worked toward obtaining a combined degree in IT and a PGCE at Exeter University. In 2001, she worked for South Devon College where she continued teaching in Further Education. Donna has been teaching in secondary schools since 2002, and came to work at Trinity School in November 2002.

David Angus, Director of Studies, Teacher of ICT, Resident Boarding Tutor:
David is ICT Co-ordinator and Director of Studies. His degree is in Music from Oxford University where he was Organ Scholar at Merton College. After a PGCE at St. Luke's, Exeter, he was appointed Assistant Director of Music at Bromsgrove School where he also taught Physics and became a Housemaster. He was then appointed Director of Music at Eltham College in London. During this time the College began highly successful partnerships with the Orchestra of St. John's Smith Square and Classic FM and the Music Department undertook numerous overseas tours. David was also able to develop his interest in the outdoors, gaining his Mountain Leader Award and leading groups to Scotland, Wales, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Iceland and Nepal.

Craig Cullen, Network Manager, Teacher of ICT
Craig is the Network Manager for the school, looking after the day-to-day running of the admin and curriculum networks. In 1997, having finished college, he started working as a Quantity Surveyor for Hills in Torquay, whilst gaining a degree through the Open University. After a couple of years, Craig turned his hands to computing and undertook numerous different computer courses. With these completed, he decided to see more of the world, and went travelling. Some of the places he visited included Australia, Hong Kong and Indonesia. Shortly after returning to the UK, Craig took over the running of the school's network, and since then has worked hard to ensure that the school's computers are kept up to date with the latest technologies.

Edward Wilkins, ICT Technician:
Edward was a pupil at Trinity, leaving in 1995 to go on to college. After a few years as a motor vehicle technician, he decided that he would turn his hand to the ever-popular world of IT. After starting an in-depth Microsoft professional course in the field, he managed to secure a part-time job at Trinity where he has gained great experience and naturally fits in as one of the team.
