Curriculum Network:
The Trinity curriculum network numbers some 300 terminals extending throughout the School by fibre-optic links. Every classroom is connected to the network to enable electronic registration and to allow staff access to curriculum and assessment data and other information. Every student has access to this network, which runs under Viglen's ClassLink 7 system specifically developed for schools. This enables students to post work to their teachers who can mark it then return it, all via the network. Remote Learning tools can be used to monitor activity on the network and to exhibit any screen to any combination of other terminals. In addition, students can access their files and school email accounts remotely via any internet connection.
Boarders:
The main network rooms are available to boarders each evening and at weekends. These have proved to be extremely popular areas, conducive to study and quiet recreation, not least in the winter months. An extremely comprehensive range of software and a wide selection of peripherals ensure that all needs are catered for. In the near future, boarders will be equipped with network access points in their own rooms. This programme is complete in two areas of the school so far.
