Geography Department

Pupils, aged 11 to 14 years, follow a Geography Course at Key Stage 3 (Years 7 - 9). This covers a range of Physical, Human and Environmental Topics as well as Geographical Skills and Enquiry Techniques.
In Year 10, pupils have the opportunity to take a two-year course at GCSE Level (AQA Specification 'A'). As part of this course there is a residential field course week on the Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland.
In the Sixth Form the course at Advanced Level is in two parts; the Lower Sixth study AS (AQA Specification 'A') and the Upper Sixth study A2 (AQA Specification 'A').
Geography is a popular subject in the School with two sets at GCSE level and a growing number of pupils following the subject at Advanced Level.
