This is a single GCSE with the opportunity to be achieved at Foundation (grades C – G) and Higher (grades A* - D)
There are 5 areas of content:
- Business Activity and the Changing Environment
- Human Resources
- Accounting and Finance
- Marketing
- Production
These are assessed as ONE examination and ONE piece of coursework.
GCSE in Business Studies and Economics (Nuffield)
This is a single GCSE which combines the 2 subjects with an investigative approach aimed at more able students.
There are 5 areas of content:
- Make or break?
- Work or what?
- Risk or certainty?
- Big or small?
- Create or destroy?
- Winners or losers?
These are assessed as TWO examinations and ONE piece of coursework
