A team of young entrepreneurs from Trinity Sixth Form have added to their run of success by winning the Young Enterprise Devon County final. Trading as ‘Offshore’, the students have developed a range of t-shirts and bags with original designs based on nautical and sailing themes.
The final was held at the Met Office in Exeter, and was judged by a panel of executives from several prominent business organisations. Offshore was up against strong opposition from several other teams of eager students from other Devon schools, yet they managed to come away with 3 of the 4 available awards, including the all-important Best Business prize.
Their reward is a place in the South West of England final, to be held on 16 June in Swindon, when they will be competing with other winners from 8 counties from West and South West England. Victory there will see them through to the national final in London later in the year. We wish them every success as they continue their exciting journey.
