Prep 5 at Stormy Slapton

2nd December 2014

On a wet and windy Tuesday morning, accompanied by Mr Fisher and Mrs Robins, Year 5 set off for Slapton Sands.  The excitement of an overnight trip managed to outweigh the problems the awful weather presented and we all arrived in high spirits. Making shelters on the beach and turning their own treasure islands into reality using beach material proved very popular activities with all. The next morning, after a hearty cooked breakfast, the challenge was the low ropes course. With a combination of team work, skill and courage, all the pupils successfully completed the challenges in front of them and left with a huge smile on their face. Well done to the whole class. Mr Fisher
