Oxbridge or Ivy League?

Gifted Trinity School student Edison He is celebrating. At the age of just 16, he has been offered an unconditional place to study for a mathematics degree at Oxford University's Merton College. Top US universities are also keen to enrol the talented young academic, with presitigious institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Cornell and Princeton universities all competing to sign him up for courses.

This latest news follows on from Edison's outstanding achievements in his 'A'level results in 2013. At the age of 15, he hit the headlines with top A* grades in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and grade A in Physics. Since then, Edison has remained at Trinity School where, as preparation for his future studies, he has been completing a number of degree level Mathematics modules offered by various universities.
