Prep 4 braved the chilly weather to have a go at house building Bronze Age style by making a wattle and daub wall. First, they used a mallet to knock in the upright posts. Next, they wove hazel between the uprights. After that, they mixed up the daub mixture (leaving out the dung!). Finally, the bravest builders slapped the mixture on the wattle. I think that most would agree with Tony Robinson who nominated this process as one of the worst jobs in history!
