Fantastic results at the ISA National Tennis championships

17th May 2016

The Independent Schools Association held its National Tennis tournament yesterday at Roehampton, and as Mr Larkman and Mrs Couch are delighted to report, it was an amazingly successful day for Trinity tennis players.

'The pupils were fantastic, as was the weather and the competition itself.

Lukene Elorriaga won the under 13 singles, and she and Beth Cooper were runners up in the under 15 doubles final. Jed Platts won the under 13 singles, and he and Dan Mountford came from 3-1 down in the doubles to win 5-4, a match that was actually streamed live and followed by some parents here in Devon.

There were truly terrific performances from from all the players, some of whom were playing in categories a year up on their ages. 4 pupils, 6 medals, amazing experiences all round and 2 pretty tired members of staff! Roll on tomorrow's ISA Athletics competition!'
