Trinity pupils have an exciting opportunity to make a trip to Lourdes at Easter next year.
The trip is being organised by HCPT, a Catholic charity which has organised Easter pilgrimage holidays to Lourdes for the past 60 years. They have made contact with Trinity as they are now planning their Easter 2017 Lourdes trip. For more information please see their excellent website at http://www.hcpt.org.uk/
Children from 8 to 18 years who have a medical and/or social needs are welcome to apply to join one of the groups and the trip is entirely funded by HCPT.
HCPT are also looking for pupils of 15 years old and upwards to create a core group of young musicians, singers and dancers to help animate the liturgies that play a central part in the pilgrimage. At other times pupils could serve as helpers in the various groups of the Westcountry Region. Helpers pay their own costs but grants may be available in some cases. Whatever part they play they should enjoy a fulfilling, educational and very probably life-changing week.
As part of the preparation for the Easter 2017 Lourdes trip, there will be a HCPT Trust Mass on 2 July 2016 in Plymouth Cathedral for children of any age and for adults.
