Audiences thrilled by school production of Les Miserables

26th February 2015

Trinity School Senior students recently staged a full production of the musical Les Misérables (School Edition). During a 3-day run, audiences were swept along by some outstanding singing and drama performances.

Head of Drama, and the show’s Director, Fenella Cooke, explained why the school chose to stage such a challenging musical. ‘We wanted to showcase the exceptional talent among the students here at Trinity, and this demanding musical was one that we thought would allow our students to shine.’

Head of Music, Rachael Arkell, the show’s Musical Director, said ’Right from the word ‘go’ our pupils displayed several of the key qualities for getting this production to an outstanding level of performance by the first night: dedication, enthusiasm, and sheer hard work!  I am very proud of all that they achieved.’
