Scholarships & Bursaries
Trinity School
Scholarships are awarded mainly at the 11+ stage. Some scholarships are,
however, awarded at other entry points e.g. 9+ to 14+.
The scholarships come under various headings:
- Academic
- Sports
- Music
- Performing Arts
- Art
- All-Round
The magnitudes of scholarship awards are equivalent to a 10%, 25% or 50% reduction
in fees, dependent on the ability or performance levels. N.B. Awards greater than
25% are means tested.
Most scholarships are awarded after the January entrance tests and for the academic
year 2009-2010, the following are being offered.
At 11+, (up to 6 academic scholarships). Children who have talents in other areas
may also be considered for sporting, musical, performing arts and all-round scholarships.
At other age groups (up to 6 awards) at the discretion of the Headmaster.
The School can also offer bursaries, to families with financial needs, normally
up to a maximum equivalent of a 50% reduction in school fees, although occasionally
to higher levels.
