Welcome to Trinity School
Trinity School
Headmaster's Welcome
Mr Tim Waters
Trinity has gone from strength to strength in the last decade and it is now acknowledged
as one of the region’s finest schools. Numbers have doubled, now standing at over
550, and we have won many awards for the excellence of our work, including the Independent
Schools Association Award for Excellence and more recently 3 Good Schools Guide
awards for A Level results.
We were also inspected in November 2008 and have just received our report. The school
has been graded “good” in 8 out of 9 areas, with a number of outstanding features
reported.
I have had the privilege of leading the school since April 2008. When my wife Ruth
and I first visited Trinity, we were immediately impressed by the School’s ethos,
the quality and commitment of the staff and, most importantly, the confident, engaging
and cheerful pupils. Our positive view of the School has only strengthened with
time.
With children of my own, I know how critical it is to ensure that your children’s
needs are properly met by their school. It is also essential that school and family
work together - the relationship needs to be dynamic, honest and built on mutual
trust and understanding. I aim to ensure that this essential partnership remains
central to Trinity’s work.
For those of you who wish to know more about my background and perspectives I also
enclose a
brief biography
. I hope that you will be able to visit us and I look forward to meeting you.
Headmaster, Mr Tim Waters, with his wife Ruth and family.
